Using Microdermabrasion Hand Pieces

Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that takes no more than an hour. It effectively exfoliates dead skin to bring back the glow on the face. It is an effective treatment for sun tanned skin, superficial facial scars, fine lines, acne and hyper pigmentation.

Microdermabrasion treatment essentially requires a microdermabrasion hand-piece. This hand piece is a multi-purpose instrument. It is fitted with a replaceable dermabrasion tip installed to a tubular housing. The set is now ready for use. It is used as an applicator to apply the aluminum oxide crystals on the skin. This hand-piece also creates the required vacuum pressure for abrasion of dead skin.

Hand-pieces can be used over and over again. A metal hand-piece is thus a good option. The Dermaglow Metal Hand Piece is easy to use and durable. It is meant for use in Dermaglow I, Dermaglow II, and Dermaglow II MD units. Those who want to go for an aluminum hand-piece, there is the ClairDerm Aluminum Hand Piece available. It can be used with disposable tips. This hand-piece is meant for use with Clairderm 1 and Clairderm 2 machines.

Maintenance of the hand-pieces is an easy process and does not take much time. It is advisable to sterilize the microdermabrasion hand-piece after each use.
